Please note that the ##client_domain## mail server will be upgraded tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5:30pm. The upgrade could take several hours.

In some circumstances, after the upgrade, sending and/or receiving emails fails because the ##client_domain## mail server now requires a secure (SSL) connection, where previously this was not the case. This issue does not effect all users or webmail users.

If your mail system behaves normally you do not need to change any settings.

It is possible that the new security certificate on the mail server may reject your existing password if it deems it is not secure enough.
If new passwords are created I will telephone you with the new password.

However, if you do have difficulty sending/receiving emails after the update, please try changing your mail settings to . .

POP INCOMING SERVER = mail.##client_domain##
Port = 995
Connection Security or SSL = SSL/TLS (or SSL ON)
Authentication = Normal Password
User = ##email##

or

IMAP INCOMING SERVER = mail.##client_domain##
Port = 993
Connection Security or SSL = SSL/TLS (or SSL ON)
Authentication = Normal Password
User = ##email##

and

OUTGOING SERVER = mail.##client_domain##
Port = 465
Connection Security or SSL = SSL/TLS (or SSL ON)
Authentication = Normal Password
User = ##email##

If you still have difficulty, and you have Google Chrome browser, you can download/install their ap/extension called "Google Remote Desktop" which will allow me, with your permission, log into your computer and check the settings.
Go to https://remotedesktop.google.com/support/
Once you have installed the extension, give me a call and I should be able to help you adjust your settings.

Yours,
